Philip Martus serves as the Chair of the leadership team.
Philip was born in Greenfield, NH, lived in Mars Hill, ME through middle school, and completed high school in Hanover, PA. He proudly served in the US Air Force for six years in the intelligence field while being stationed in Texas, South Korea, and the National Security Agency in Maryland. He returned to NH in 1986.
After returning to NH Philip trained as an apprentice learning the craft of colonial era home restoration from his father and grandfather. He and his brother built a professional recording studio. Philip was fortunate enough to be able to manage two independent record labels at this time with Marty Balin, a founding member of Jefferson Airplane. Another international band signed with their label and based on crowd appeal, was invited to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. Philip has also worked in management positions at Millard Group in Peterborough and General Manager for a manufacturing company in Jaffrey NH.
Some of Philip's Favorites: Philip's favorite part of his church position is being able to use the talents that God has given him in a powerful and meaningful way. His favorite hobbies include cooking, growing Bonsai plants, and collecting antique tools. He enjoys listening to the classics, Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughn. His Favorite Quote is "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded, and from the one that has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked,” Luke 12:48-49, and his favorite book is "Celebration of Discipline " by Richard Foster.
What makes Philip feel "Fully Alive"? "When I am able to live my life consistently exhibiting the fruits of the Holy Spirit in all that I do."


Michael Borden serves as the Vice-Chair of the leadership team and the Chair of Mutual Ministry.
Mike joined the church in 1995 and was baptized with his wife Chris and sons, Mike Jr. and Ryan.
Some of Mike's Favorites: Mike enjoys the outdoors and motorcycling with Chris. His favorite meals are the monthly potlucks, where he "gets to sample everyone’s best dish." Mike's favorite Bible verse: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. Chris Hendrick serves as a Member at Large of the leadership team.
Chris is originally from South Carolina, where he met his wife Lisa, who is from NH. He and Lisa have two sons, Danny and William.
Chris graduated from The Citadel in 1993, received a Masters in Counseling Psychology at Antioch NE Grad. School in 1999, and worked as a therapist for seven years. Chris is currently working in carpentry.
Some of Chris’s favorites: "Being active in our congregation means very much to me because it teaches me so much." His favorite hobbies include whitewater kayaking, snowboarding, camping, and hiking. He enjoys listening to folk and bluegrass music, and his favorite books are "River of Doubt" and "Here Be Dragons". Chris’s favorite quote is "Thy will, not mine, be done."
What makes Chris feel "Fully Alive"? "Allowing myself to be vulnerable with others by sharing all of me, my strengths and my weaknesses."


Bob Karsten serves as a Member at Large of the leadership team.


Faith Lloyd serves as the Administrative Assistant to the leadership team.
As the Administrative Assistant she is responsible for maintaining church records, handling church correspondence and publicity, and assisting Rev. Dan and other church leaders with administrative duties.
She is a long-time member of GCCC, having been baptized here as an infant, confirmed as a teenager, and received into membership as a young adult. She is married to David Lloyd, a talented computer guru from Wales, who is also a church member.
Faith Worked during the 1960's at Crotched Mountain Center, as Secretary to Director of School for the Deaf; Secretary to Public Relations Director; Assistant to CMRC Corporate Board; Assistant to Business Manager; Secretary to Medical Director; and Assistant in Medical Records. In 1the 970's she worked at Monadnock Hospital as office assistant in X-Ray Department and also in Medical Records, and later for Superintendent of Schools as administrative assistant. In 1980's and 90's Faith worked for McGraw-Hill (BYTE Magazine), as editorial assistant, as assistant to Editor-in-Chief, Publisher, and Copyrights and International Licensing Manager. In the late 90's she worked again at Crotched Mountain, as assistant in ATU (Assistive Technology Unit).
She is thankful that the Lord has blessed her with gifts of administration, and has attempted to use those gifts wherever the Holy Spirit shows her a need. She has served the Lord over the years in a variety of ways, including serving as Deacon and on the Leadership Team as Clerk for several years; also in a number of church ministries, including Worship, Christian Formation, Evangelism & Growth, church child care, and food pantry/clothing. In addition, she has taught Sunday School in the past, has been a member of the church choir, worked in the church office, and assisted the church treasurer.
Some of Faith's Favorites: Faith's Favorite parts of her church position are writing and assisting Rev. Dan & LT with church administration & planning. Her favorite hobbies are gardening, writing, and reading. She enjoys listening to The Three Tenors, violinist Andrew Rieu, and 50's country. Faith’s favorite book is the Bible - "especially John's writings.”
